Kevin Steen

Based in Detroit, Kevin Steen is a film director who thinks outside of the box, creating both narrative and documentary projects. He is a founding member of the production collective Rathaus Films, whose goal is to create bold content through conversation and collaboration. Steen has directed for brands like CNN, National Geographic and Carhartt, and earned recognition from the National Film Festival for Talented Youth and Vimeo Staff Picks. His film A Surfer's Search (Mountainfilm 2020) tells the story of a 60-year-old surfer in the Great Lakes.
