William A. Kerig

After a misguided and short-lived career on Wall Street in the 1980s, William A. Kerig sold his suits and moved to Salt Lake City to pursue his greatest passion — skiing. In addition to skiing professionally for 10 years, he has worked as a film producer, book author, television show host, sports commentator, magazine editor and writer. He was a contributing editor at Skiing Magazine from 1987 to 2004, founded the Wasatch Journal and has published articles in Men’s Journal, SKI and Powder magazine. He wrote the book The Edge of Never and was the director and executive producer of the Showtime Networks documentary film of the same name. He also wrote, directed and produced the documentary Ready To Fly.
