Tyler Wilkinson-Ray

Co-founder of T-bar Films and native Vermonter Tyler Wilkinson-Ray brings documentary-style creative storytelling to adventure films. T-bar has showcased small ski areas, mountain biking and adaptive sports. An anthropologist by training, Wilkinson-Ray is a graduate of the University of Vermont. His 2014 film Out on a Limb (Mountainfilm 2015) featured adaptive skier Vasu Sojitra, who scales peaks and skis down them, proving disability is just a myth. His film 2.5 Million (Mountainfilm 2018) chronicles skier Aaron Rice's attempt to ski 2.5 million vertical feet in a year. His film (co-directed with Colin Arisman) Brotherhood of Skiing (Mountainfilm 2019), tracks the rich history of America's black ski club.
