Timothy Egan

An author and journalist, Timothy Egan is an opinion columnist for the The New York Times. His work has won him both a Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award. Tackling such topics as the American West and the decline of rural America, he is the author of seven books, including The Worst Hard Time, a New York Times bestseller, and The Good Rain: Across Time and Terrain in the Pacific Northwest. A third-generation Westerner, Egan is based in Seattle, Washington.
