Tim Hussin

Tim Hussin is a photographer and Emmy Award-winning filmmaker based in San Francisco. Over the years, he has worked for the San Francisco Chronicle and been published by publications like The New Yorker, National Geographic and The Guardian, and worked with clients like Lyft and Airbnb. His first feature-length documentary film, America Recycled (2015), follows a 5,000-mile bicycle trip that he took with his brother. Currently, he explores the personal effects of natural disasters, gun violence, life after incarceration and the consequences of technology on urban life. He co-directed his recent short film, Eric and the Bees (Mountainfilm 2021), alongside director and photographer Erin Brethauer.
