Seth Dahl

As a one-man production company, Seth Dahl does it all. Inspired by his experiences and observations while serving in Iraq for a year, he uncovered a buried passion for photojournalism. Since returning from deployment, Dahl has not only completed a degree in journalism, but has founded and developed his own one-stop-shop, Big Cedar Media, in which he not only writes and directs, but shoots and edits films as well. His projects often focus on fellow veterans and their journeys toward overcoming adversity through outdoor adventure and sport. His most current work The Long River Home (Mountainfilm 2020) tells the story of two injured combat veterans who come together for one more mission: guiding their blind friend Lonnie, also a veteran, on a river trip through the Grand Canyon.
