Sean Flynn

As the cofounder and program director of the Points North Institute, Sean Flynn and his team produce the Camden International Film Festival and several programs that offer support to the next generation of non-fiction storytellers. Flynn began his own journey in documentary film with a master’s degree from MIT’s Comparative Media Studies department, where he also worked as a researcher at the MIT Open Documentary Lab. He was a producer and cinematographer on two Tribeca Film Festival premieres — Beyond Belief (2007) and The List (2012) — and was a Fulbright Senior Research Fellow in Mumbai. In 2015, he was selected for the NAMAC Creative Leadership Lab.
