Scott Calonico

Filmmaker Scott Calonico’s work has been shown internationally at film festivals such as Sundance, Tribeca, Edinburgh and Rotterdam, but perhaps his most unique screening location was inside an abandoned World War II bunker in Italy. Holding a bachelor of science in Radio/TV/Film from the University of Texas and a MA from City University, London in International Journalism, his work explores a variety of subjects. It has been featured on websites like Comedy Central, Vanity Fair, The Atlantic Monthly, Ch4, Boing Boing, Dangerous Minds, OUT magazine, Retronaut, Timeline and VICE. Calonico’s short documentary Everything You Wanted to Know About Sudden Birth* (*but were afraid to ask) (Mountainfilm 2019) premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.
