Scott Briscoe

Fueled by a fierce and ardent fire to promote the equity, diversity and inclusion of all things outdoors, Scott Briscoe lives and works from a deep sense of personal experience. With a mixed-race heritage and an unconventional avenue to outdoor recreation, Briscoe has lived “these bookends of social, economic and racially divided spaces.” His job is to help companies understand that when marketing and telling stories, they should include a wide range of individuals. His recent work includes co-directing Bringing it Home (Mountainfilm 2020) — the story of Tyrhee Moore, an outdoor-education advocate, who dedicates his time to inspiring and educating urban youth about the power and accessibility of the outdoors.
