Samantha Smith
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Samantha Smith’s passion for meaningful media brought her to Los Angeles, where she studied film and television production at Pepperdine University. Smith has continued to develop her craft, assisting Lucy Walker, director of several Mountainfilm documentaries, including the The Crash Reel (Mountainfilm 2013). Smith directed 1-800-Give-Us-Your-Kidney with a world premiere at the 2016 Moutainfilm festival. The film’s story is a reminder that we’re all the same on the inside.
