Prasanjeet Yadav
With a degree in molecular biology, it was early in his scientific career that Prasanjeet Yadav realized his true passion was storytelling. He combines his experience in natural history and ecological processes with photography, which helps bring ecology, conservation and wildlife sciences to a broader audience. Concerned with the conservation issues that face his country, Yadav received a National Geographic Young Explorers grant to produce a story on evolution and speciation in the Shola grasslands of India’s South Western Ghats. He hopes to continue using visual storytelling as a way bridge the knowledge gap between researchers, managers and policymakers.
