Nico Hambleton

A man of many hats, Nico Hambleton makes films by day and runs the lighting by night. Award-winning lighting cameraman, DOP and aerial drone pilot, Hambleton is also a documentary filmmaker with a panache for extreme outdoor adventure. He is a qualified ski instructor who’s trained in avalanche survival, but is also what some might call a kitesurfing extraordinaire who knows the open water well. Hambleton’s most recent work includes the acclaimed Lock Down Rock Up (Mountainfilm 2021) which tells the story of a young paramedic and his means of managing the crisis we are all currently facing.
