Monique Stauder
Swiss-American photojournalist Monique Stauder has traversed the world for Time, Newsweek, GEO, The New York Times and The Christian Science Monitor. Her first book, Latitude Zero, is the culmination of a 25,000-mile odyssey that begins at the mouth of the Amazon River and moves in a westward direction, documenting the humanity and nature within one degree north and south of latitude zero. Time published Stauder’s solo odyssey online, which subsequently won second place for the National Press Photographers Association Best of Photojournalism (2005) and first place in Photo District News’ Best of Photojournalism (2010).
