Lito Tejada-Flores

Born at 13,000 feet in the Bolivian Andes, Lito has spent most of his life in the mountains – climbing, skiing and sharing his passion for them as a ski instructor, filmmaker, author and publisher. He moved to Telluride in 1976, and a few years later, with his friend Bill Kees, helped to start Mountainfilm. Today, Lito lives half the year in Colorado and the other half in Chilean Patagonia with his true love, photographer Linde Waidhofer. He had dedicated his life to raising awareness about environmental and social issues.
