Lindsey Ross
In the digital age when photographers can take hundreds of photos with the simple click of a button, Lindsey Ross prefers to get her hands dirty with the historic method of wet collodion photography. With her portable darkroom and sometimes-finicky (and always-unwieldy) vintage cameras, Ross painstakingly creates beautiful, one-of-a-kind prints and portraits. She spent years in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, making photos and backcountry skiing before opening her studio, La Chambre Photographique, in Santa Barbara, California.
