Lauren Markham
Berkeley-based writer Lauren Markham is the author of The Far Away Brothers, a chronicle of unaccompanied minor migrants from El Salvador to the United States. Drawing on her expertise in human migration, Markham writes and speaks about global refugee issues, Central American child migration in the U.S., environmental issues, urban education and education policy.
