
Katie Falkenberg
Based in Los Angeles and southern Oregon, documentary filmmaker and photojournalist Katie Falkenberg is a Pulitzer Prize finalist in Feature Photography for her body of work from Brazil, Motherhood in the Time of Zika, and a recipient of the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award for Domestic Photography. Falkenberg has twice earned the honor of Multimedia Photographer of the Year by Pictures of the Year International (POYi). Committed to working on environmental conservation stories that raise awareness or spark inspiration, her films include Refuge and The Shepherdess (Mountainfilm 2019). Two of her short documentaries, Without Nature, No Life and Delphi: A Tale of Two Cities, were named Official Honorees in the Webby Awards. If she doesnt have a camera in her hand, she can most likely be found surfing, fly-fishing or painting.
