Kathy Green
Artist, history buff, home builder and former national park ranger Kathy Green is a beloved Telluride resident who moved to town in 1979 with her husband Chuck Kroger. Along with friend Ron Gilmer, Kathy and Chuck started a house building company, Back of Nowhere Engineering; BONE Construction endures to this day. She’s also been an involved community member who has sat on numerous boards, including a 25-year stint on the Planning & Zoning Commission. As an artist, she is known for her silk dying, intricate mosaics and chunky metal work.
