Kathleen Hughes

Kathleen Hughes directed the Emmy Award-winning Bill Moyers documentary Buying The War and co-directed the Emmy Award-winning The Armor of Light. Other awards for her directing, producing and writing include the duPont-Columbia Gold Baton, the Gracie Award, the Sidney Hillman Prize, the Society of Professional Journalists’ First Amendment Award and the Harry Chapin Media Award. Hughes is the co-director of The American Dream and Other Fairy Tales (Mountainfilm 2022).
