Joshua Seftel
Joshua Seftel is best known for directing the political satire War, Inc., as well as the Emmy-winning landmark series Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Seftel is a contributor to the Peabody Award-winning program This American Life, and his essays have appeared on NPR, The New York Times and CBS Sunday Morning. Seftel is also an award-winning documentary filmmaker. His work includes Lost and Found, Taking on the Kennedys, Ennis Gift and The Home Team. Seftels viral series The Secret Life of Muslims is a Peabody Finalist. Seftel is the director of Zain's Summer: From Refugee to American Boy (Mountainfilm 2017) and Stranger at the Gate (Mountainfilm 2022).
