Joseph Toney

Using mountains as motivation, graphic artist Joseph Toney creates intricately detailed drawings and paintings. Toney’s concentric line-style illustrations, some done freehand and some using a ruler and French curve, have graced the topsheets of Armada Skis and the Jones Snowboards logo. Whether ski touring, biking or hiking, Toney always has his camera in tow. Later back at his studio, he translates his outdoor experiences onto wood panels and even the white, blank canvas of animal skulls his dog brings home.
