Jordan Halland

Director, producer and writer Jordan Halland will say “yes” to most things, especially things that scare the hell out of him. This philosophy has taken him to Alaska to film ice climbers, Egypt to film skateboarders and around the continental U.S. to create music videos for Damien Jurado and photograph river surfers for the film StrongWater (Mountainfilm 2016). The Idaho-based filmmaker has received two Vimeo Staff Picks and has had numerous films in Mountainfilm including Blue Obsession (Mountainfilm 2012), Brighter Night (Mountainfilm 2018), Rusty's Ascent (Mountainfilm 2019) and They Are Us (Mountainfilm 2020). He was also the recipient of the 2017 Mountainfilm Commitment Grant.
