John Davies

John Davies is a two-time student BAFTA short lister (2020 & 2021) and award-winning filmmaker and visual artist, whose work focuses on environmental and humanitarian themes. His personal work has been featured in publications such as Time magazine, Vice and Creative Review. Before focusing on his own work as a director, Davies’ route into the film industry was in creative development, in which he has over eight years of experience working alongside some of the world’s most renowned directors across advertising, documentaries, TV series and feature films with production agencies around the world. Davies is the director of Stories of You and I (Mountainfilm 2022), an open letter to the Earth, based on true accounts, memories and relationships with the natural world. He recently directed The Ghost Rainforest (Mountainfilm 2023). He is currently in the development of his debut feature documentary.
