Hilary Peddicord

Hilary Peddicord is a science educator for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and has worked with Mountainfilm in Telluride consistently since 2006. Her work at NOAA supports the Science On a Sphere program, which uses a massive globe and projection system to explain storms, climate change, and other atmospheric patterns. She runs professional development activities for science teachers, coordinates outreach activities for thousands of local students, and leads a group of Science On a Sphere museum educators across the U.S. Her eclectic background of teaching dance, bartending, cattle-wrangling, and hosting at film festivals contribute to her warm and engaging style.
