Gabriela Cavanagh

With an aspiration to produce documentaries that humanize, speak to wider issues and inspire younger generations, Gabriela Cavanagh creates visually striking films that stimulate viewers toward social change. For several years, Cavanagh worked with filmmakers and clients to develop feature films, series and branded content at The Documentary Group. Her own film, Manuel (Mountainfilm 2018), follows an 87-year-old who sells aphrodisiac juice in Havana, and her work on Sustained Outrage (Mountainfilm 2020) provides a portrait documentary of West Virginia’s Gazette-Mail.
