Fernando Valencia
Documentary filmmaker and a visual anthropologist, Fernando Valencia’s productions are primarily focused on social justice issues. In 2009, he received an honorable mention in the student category of the José Rovirosa Awards for his short film Only One Day. In 2014, he produced the documentary México Crossroads for Al Jazeera English, and in 2018, won the call to produce his most recent short, Seeds, The Legacy of the Land (Mountainfilm 2022), for the Mexican Film Institute’s 18th National Short Film Project Contest.
