Faye Tsakas

Tsakas is a Greek-American filmmaker born in New York City, and currently based in Los Angeles. Her films have been featured by International Film Festival Rotterdam, True/False Film Festival, Maryland Film Festival, Nowness, New Filmmakers NY, Vimeo Staff Picks and Paper Magazine, among others. She was previously vice president of development & production for LA-based film production company Passage Pictures and director of acquisitions & production for New York-based film distribution company FilmRise. Tsakas is currently finishing an MFA in Documentary Film & Video at Stanford University. She is the co-director of Parasolka (Mountainfilm 2023).
