Elliot Ross
Elliot Ross is a Colorado-based photographer. Born in Taipei, Taiwan, his interest in photography, rural frontiers and underserved communities developed during his upbringing on a homestead in Colorado’s high plains. In New York City, he trained as an assistant under Annie Leibovitz and Mark Seliger. Ross’s work hones in on the effects of isolation on communities and the divisive, emotional nature of geopolitical borders — including ongoing issues in the U.S./Mexico borderlands. His work has been internationally shown and published, with notable appearances in National Geographic Magazine, Vice and The Atlantic.
