Eliza Kubarska
A graduate of Academy of Fine Arts and Andrzej Wajda Film School in Warsaw, Poland, Eliza Kubarska is also a scholar of the Polish Ministry of Culture. As one of Poland’s best mountaineers, Kubarska takes a novel look at the dynamics of adventure, exploring human stories with an environmental background. She made her documentary directing debut with What Happened on Pam Island (Mountainfilm 2012) and followed up with Walking Under Water (2014), K2 Touching the Sky (2015) and most recently, Wall of Shadows (Mountainfilm 2021).
