Dylan Ladds
Dylan Ladds began making films at the age of 12 alongside his childhood friend, Ryan Scura. The duo went on to found Dooster, a production company that focuses on community centric, outdoor stories and films like The Granite Stoke (2014). More recently, Ladds and Scura have co-directed Coming Home - Ag Teacht Abhaile (Mountainfilm 2021), about ultra runner Paddy O'Leary who returns home to Ireland to explore a rugged and wild place, and its companion piece, The Lost Tribe of the Wicklow Mountains (Mountainfilm 2021). Ladds still calls the Northeast home and is based in Portland, Maine where he loves exploring the rocky coast.
