David Pearson
Squamish-based filmmaker David Pearson is fascinated with adventure films. His work as part of Reel Water Productions has been broadcast and featured in festivals around the world, covering a wide variety of adventure sports from ice climbing and paragliding to cave diving and whitewater kayaking. His ideal project is one where the environment is wild, the goal is lofty and everyone suffers a lot. Capturing stories in difficult and remote locations is Pearsons way to travel the world while simultaneously being employed. Pearson is the director of the film Locked In: First Descent of the Beriman Gorge (Mountainfilm 2016) which follows the first kayak descent of the Beriman Gorge.
