Dave Nesis

Dave Nesis lives in the hamlet of Ophir just south of the town of Telluride, where he enjoys the mountain trails straight from his front door. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Dave earned a degree in business finance and economics, which led him straight into the San Juan Mountains. Here you will find him trail running, climbing and skiing five days a week. He also leads groups of high schoolers internationally throughout Central and South America and is a mountain guide locally in Colorado, on Denali in Alaska and in the Swiss and Italian Alps. Dave loves reading books on a comfy couch, cooking pancakes, conversing over a hot drink, and sharing his love for the outdoors, environment and community with others.
