Craig Atkinson

A multifaceted documentary filmmaker, Craig Atkinson is a notable producer, editor and cinematographer. With a master’s degree in visual media arts from Emerson College, Atkinson brought his talent to the film Detropia, which was an Academy Award short list after its 2012 Sundance premiere. While in Detroit, Atkinson was also a cinematographer on The Education of Muhammed Hussein, a short documentary that explores the Muslim population in the Detroit area. Atkinson directed Do Not Resist (Mountainfilm 2016), which explores the militarization of police in the United States.
