Chris Hanson

Christopher Hanson first attended Mountainfilm in Telluride as a NOLS instructor in 1994 and moved to town a year later to co-write and direct the film Scrapple (Mountainfilm in 1998). He moved to Charleston, South Carolina, in 2012 and started Hanson Media House, eventually widening his lense to capture natural beauty in Alaska — in the middle of winter and in the middle of nowhere. The result is the short film North Slope, Alaska (Mountainfilm 2014).
