Campbell Brewer

Campbell Brewer is a director and cinematographer with 10 years of experience shooting documentaries and commercials. He started shooting travel films for an international travel company and has filmed projects in over 30 countries over the years. His expertise ranges from large Hollywood films like The Help (2011) and Get On Up (2014) to small run-and-gun branded content projects for companies like Patagonia and Levi’s. His documentary approach is about being present and honest. Brewer’s favorite films allow viewers to continually wonder if they are watching a documentary or a scripted story. He cares deeply about the natural world and protecting wild places and believes that film and storytelling are powerful tools in the fight against climate change. Along with Katheryn Francis, he co-directed Ascend (Mountainfilm 2024).
