Benjamin Drummond

Benjamin Drummond’s films, which he produced and directed in collaboration with his partner Sara Joy Steele, include Badru’s Story (Mountainfilm 2013), Introducing Anthropocene (2016), Methow Headwaters (2017) and Blue Carbon (2018), among others. Over the years, the duo has partnered with organizations like the World Wildlife Fund, Ocean Conservancy and The Nature Conservancy. In addition, Drummond’s photography has appeared in National Geographic, Smithsonian and other publications. The duo’s recent film, How to Count a Wolf (Mountainfilm 2021) hones in on the difficulties and risks those charged with monitoring wolf populations face.
