Anson Fogel
Anson Fogel is a commercial, film and television director and part owner of production company Camp4 Collective, based in Salt Lake City, Utah. His lifelong passion for film was born of a childhood spent in the rural mountain West, wandering and devouring books, music and movies. He worked his way up from second AC, worked as a DP for seven years, and now directs brand, doc and TV work. ?Anson has directed major campaigns for Amtrak, BF Goodrich, The North Face, Volkswagen and Apple and has won over 20 major film festival awards? for his narrative and documentary work. He won multiple festival awards and critical acclaim for his film WildWater and was DP and editor for the narrative short films Paraíso (Mountainfilm 2012) and Red Landing for FireFly Films and Gretchen Wroblewski. His films Cascada and Beat Down also screened at Mountainfilm in 2013 and 2015, respectively. He directed the short film When We Were Knights (Mountainfilm 2016), telling the story of friendship that develops through high consequence adventuring. He is the co-director of The Movement (Mountainfilm 2019).
