Anne Cleary

Anne Cleary is a filmmaker based in Seattle, Washington. She has directed and produced over 60 short films and is the first female director at Crankworx. Cleary grew up with a father who was obsessed with photography and filmmaking and believes the camera is one of the best ways to tell a story. She worked on The Recipe (2019), a ski movie featuring Ingrid Backstrom, and co-directed Superbloom (Mountainfilm 2020) which focuses on the feeling and experience of being outdoors.
