Andreas Johnsen

Filmmaker Andreas Johnsen is driven by curiosity, and making films is his way of investigating, experiencing and understanding the world. Learning about the Chinese political system and censorship policy, he directed The Fake Case, a film about acclaimed artist Ai Weiwei that won the Danish Film Critics Award. Diving into the world of food systems, Johansen directed BUGS (Mountainfilm 2016), featuring Denmark’s Nordic Food Lab and tackling the topic of edible insects. Johnsen is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
