Outside Has a New Look
Take a second to check out Mountainfilm sponsor, Outside magazine's new web redesign. The sleek new look promises to bring an array of new digital content, and we're excited to see where the editorial team takes it!
From Outside:
If this isnt your first visit to Outsideonline, you probably noticed that weve altered a few thingsor virtually everything, to be precise. But what might feel like an abrupt and surprising greeting to loyal readers is actually the result of a yearlong effort to shake up our approach to the Web led by our indefatigable online editor, Joe Spring. In the past, weve served up our monthly magazine content as the main course on the Outside website, garnishing our long-form feature stories with an odd assortment of news briefs, interviews, and the (very) occasional exclusive online story. That all changes today. This launch reflects our belief that Outsideonline should have its own distinct identity and should serve as a robust platform on an equal footing with the magazine and our new TV network. By giving Outsideonline readers far more daily coverage of all things adventure, we hope to make the site a daily habit. Heres what else to look for, starting with the screaming headline.
