Overview
Due to the 1963 U.S. embargo on Cuban trade, Major League Baseball teams still cannot hire players directly from Cuba. If Cuban baseball players hope to get signed by U.S. teams, they must establish residency in other countries. This documentary follows three Cuban athletes who live together in Costa Rica, following dreams fueled by a Los Angeles-based sports agent and Costa Rican contractors.
