American Ocelot

For more than three decades, researchers have studied how to save the fewer than 80 ocelots that live in the southern tip of Texas. And time is not on their side. Habitat fragmentation, vehicle collisions and a lack of genetic diversity in the two remaining breeding populations increase the likelihood that the cat will go extinct. Using stunning camera trap footage, American Ocelot showcases this beautiful and elusive species, and hopefully sparks the passion needed to help them recover.
