Peter Byck

Peter Byck is the director, producer and writer of Carbon Nation. He is also a professor of practice at Arizona State University, in both the School of Sustainability and the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism & Mass Communication. Focusing on soil health in his short films, Soil Carbon Cowboys and One Hundred Thousand Beating Hearts (Mountainfilm 2017), Byck is intent on helping to form a large whole systems science project comparing regenerative grazing to conventional –– measuring data from water retention to soil carbon to animal welfare and much more.
