Javier Fernandez

Growing up in a small farm town, Javier Fernandez began his filmmaking journey by creating short videos with friends to fight off the boredom of long summer days. His hobby soon turned into a passion and Fernandez signed up for a high school video production class, eventually becoming the president of his school’s video department. He gave film school a try, but eventually dropped out to forge his own filmmaking path. Fernandez currently works at a digital marketing agency as the lead video producer and makes personal projects like Unfenced (Mountainfilm 2020) in his spare time.
