James Mwenda

James Mwenda is a member of the rhino unit team at Ol Pejeta Conservancy in central Kenya, where he and his teammates provide care and protection for the last northern white rhinos in existence. A 2018 recipient of the African Ranger of the Year Award, Mwenda has become a global ambassador for conservation and the realities of extinction. He is a subject of Kifaru (Mountainfilm 2019).
