Fisher Stevens
Fisher Stevens is an American actor, director and producer with many film and television credits to his name. His latest project is a portrait of trailblazing oceanographer and eco-activist Sylvia Earle. Mission Blue tells the story of Earles advocacy for government-protected zones, where ocean life can recover and be preserved from human-caused environmental disasters. Stevens produced The Cove, the eye-opening 2009 documentary about mass dolphin kills in Japan, which won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. Stevens also won a 2008 Independent Spirit Award for Best Documentary Feature for Crazy Love.
