Christopher Smith
Christopher Smith works to call attention to the issues of social and environmental justice. He is a Los Angeles-based documentary and commercial director and producer who founded Speak Thunder Films in 2013 while directing his first film, TINY (Mountainfilm 2013), a film that explores constructing and living in a tiny home. He was an assistant editor on Racing Extinction (Mountainfilm 2014), and his work has been featured on CNN, ABC, HuffPost and The Denver Post, among others. He holds an MPA from the University of Colorado, Denver and a BA from the University of Colorado, Boulder. His full-length environmental thriller Current Sea (Mountainfilm 2020) follows two men as they work to create a marine conservation area and combat illegal fishing.
