2008 MOVING MOUNTAINS SYMPOSIUM on Water

Friday, May 23, 2008 • 8:30am-3pm

Telluride Conference Center (AKA “High Camp” in the Mountain Village)

Many scientists and social observers say the looming water crisis is the most critical issue facing humans and the environment. Freshwater and saltwater sources are threatened by overuse, misuse and pollution. The Moving Mountains Symposium will highlight the enormous risks we are taking with our most precious resource, as well as offer solutions on how to best take action.
The Symposium is an all-day topical immersion that includes short presentations, panel discussions and audience Q&A. Includes a sumptuous outdoor lunch.

Featured Panelists:

Wade Graham, Moderator
Azzam Alwash
Alexandra Cousteau
Dennis Dimick
Sylvia Earle
Peter Gleick

Mountainfilm will also be hosting a special corollary to the Symposium Drilling Down: Water and the Southwest
