Ivan Hughes

Four University of British Columbia students began cutting classes in 1965 so that they could attempt a new route up a demanding local rock face. In the rebellious and free-form spirit of the day, they also began to ascend the walls of the university becoming early pioneers of a whole new form of climbing.
